What is Aesthetic DNA?
Aesthetic DNA is a style intelligence engine. You upload photos of clothes you love and we analyze them across five dimensions — color, silhouette, texture, construction, and overall style — to produce a precise picture of your aesthetic taste.
What kind of photos should I upload?
Photos of clothing you feel most represents your taste — pieces you own, pieces you wish you owned, or anything that visually resonates with you. Product shots, outfit photos, or screenshots all work. Aim for 5–20 images for the best results. The more consistent and personal your selection, the sharper your aesthetic profile will be.
How accurate is the analysis?
The engine uses computer vision models trained specifically on fashion imagery and reads five independent signals from every photo. Results improve with more images and a more focused selection. The archetype and axes are interpretive — think of them as a starting point for understanding your taste, not a definitive label.
Are my images stored?
Yes — your uploaded images are stored on our servers so your style card can be displayed and shared. We don't use your images for advertising and we don't sell your data. You can request deletion at any time via our feedback form. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Who can see my style card?
Your style card is private by default — only accessible to someone with your unique link. If you share the link, anyone with it can view your card including your uploaded images. You control who you share the link with.
Can I update my style card?
Yes. On your style card, use the "Update your style" section to add or remove images. Each change updates your taste profile and refreshes the product recommendations in real time.
What is a .style file?
A .style file is a portable snapshot of your taste profile — it contains your uploaded images and their metadata. You can download it using the "Save style" button and reload it later using "Load style file" on the upload page. It's how you back up and restore your style card.
How does "Shop your taste" work?
When you activate a store, we compare your taste vectors against that store's product catalog and surface the closest matches across color, silhouette, and overall style. Results update in real time as you refine your taste images.
Can I share my style with someone else so they can shop for me?
Yes — share your style card link with anyone. The recipient sees your full card including your archetype, palette, and product recommendations. They can also save your style as a .style file using the "Save this style" button.
Is Aesthetic DNA free?
Yes, Aesthetic DNA is currently free to use.
